Rankings Methodology

CupcakeRankings.com samples cupcakes from a variety of venues and objectively samples them in four categories:

• Taste
• Texture
• Aesthetics
• Satisfaction

Each category can earn a maximum of 5 points, for a total maximum cupcake score of 20 points. Since we're ranking cupcakes, we'll refer to each point as a "sprinkle." A 20-sprinkle cupcake would be the perfect cupcake, which we are on a quest to find!
